About This Role:
The Patron Services Associate is responsible for assisting with hospitality and box office operations for Bravo! Vail events. More specifically, this means selling tickets both over the phone and in-person, processing Donor tickets/comps, packages, and lawn passes while utilizing excellent customer service skills. Job locations may include the Bravo! Vail office, Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater, Vilar Performing Arts Center, and other venues throughout the Vail Valley. Hours will vary and include weekends and evenings during the Festival season (early-April to late-July). Due to the nature of the Bravo! Vail Festival, a full commitment to the job dates is imperative. Part-time seasonal hours will be 14-21 hours/week.
Position may assist other departments as needed.

- Represent Bravo! Vail by always providing excellent customer service
- Utilize clear and succinct verbal and written communication with acute attention to detail
- Assist with Box Office sales both in-person and over the phone
- Printing and mailing of tickets and passes
Who You Are:
You are looking for a seasonal position where you can utilize your excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. You can be “the calm within the storm” and enjoy interacting with many different people. You are comfortable working with computers and love working with a great team.

Position Summary:
The Office Manager plays a key role in Bravo! Vail’s organizational functions. This person manages all office operations and provides critical support to all departments. This is a full-time year-round, in-person position.
Essential Functions:
General Customer Service/Front Desk
- Greets and assists guests at front desk
- Assists all office visitors including providing information, taking ticket orders, and assisting with other transactions
- Answers all incoming calls; manages Bravo! Vails’s communal email accounts, and responds to all modes of communications in a timely, helpful and professional manner
- Is knowledgeable about Festival schedule, programs, and events
General Office Management
Responsible for maintaining the overall neatness and order of the office, including ensuring common areas are consistently clean, neat, and tidy. Other duties include, but are not limited to:
- Keeping conference room in order, including setting/clearing
- Taking out recycling, trash and compost
- Maintaining kitchen – daily tidiness, stocking of supplies and snacks
- Organizing/maintaining tidiness of community workspaces
- Organizing/maintaining/restocking communal storage supply areas
- Restocking bathroom supplies
Coordinating and performing office maintenance as needed with vendors
Open and close the office daily (lock/unlock doors, check lights, etc.)
Management/distribution of incoming and returned mail
Assists with in-office bulk mailings (printing, assembly)
Monitors, orders and restocks all office supplies
Manages/maintains postage meter and copiers
Participates in onboarding process of new staff members including training
Finance Department Assistance
- Assists with managing and processing Accounts Payable
- Assists with processing invoices in a timely manner
- Logs checks and makes bank deposits
- Assists with ad hoc requests as needed
- Human Resources Assistance
- Assists with general HR processing
- Assists with coordination of internal events and staff functions
- Supports intern management
- Assists with ad hoc requests as needed
Box Office Assistance
- Assists Box Office with in-person and phone ticket orders as needed
- Assist with the printing and mailing of tickets and passes
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in customer service and/or office management, with a proven track record of providing exceptional service and support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook is essential. Strong computer skills are a must
- Experience with CRM databases is preferred, with a focus on maintaining accurate records and facilitating effective communication
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred to enhance our ability to serve a diverse community
- Attention to detail, consistently delivering high-quality work, and meeting or exceeding expectations
- Proactive, energetic, and adaptable team player who excels in a collaborative work environment, bringing organization and flexibility to every task

Position Summary:
This position is perfectly suited for an experienced music teacher who wishes to combine their passion and skill for musical instruction with a larger role with the Vail Valley’s premiere arts institution. The Education & Patron Services Associate is a unique full-time position combining teaching violin or piano with administrative, hospitality, and box office services for the organization. From September to April, this position primarily serves the Education & Engagement department. Its main responsibilities will be serving as a music teacher (violin or piano) in Bravo! Vail’s Music Makers Haciendo Música Program, teaching approximately 4-8 classes per week. In addition, this role will assist with administrative tasks within the Education & Engagement Department as needed. From December– August, this role will join the Patron Services team, assisting patrons with ticket orders and fulfillment, working on-site in the Box Office at concerts, and providing general administrative assistance to the Institutional Advancement Department. Job locations include but are not limited to various Eagle County schools, the Bravo! Vail office, Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater, Vilar Performing Arts Center, and other venues throughout the Eagle County Scheduled hours will include daytime, evenings, and weekends.
Essential Functions:
- Musical Instruction (Piano and/or Violin/Strings):
Bravo! Vail’s Music Makers Haciendo Música (MMHM) encourages students to explore the world of classical music through group classes that include lessons covering music theory, technique, performance, and collaboration. In weekly 45-minute classes held throughout the academic year, students build strong musical foundations. Each winter and spring, students perform in community recitals, and over the summer, developing and advanced students are invited to participate in a five-day Summer Intensive.
The Piano or Violin/Strings Teacher is an integral part of the teaching team and provides a safe and inspiring environment conducive to learning while at the same time promoting a life-long appreciation of music. Teachers are responsible for guiding each of their group classes and individual students with a positive, solution-based approach to music education.
Responsibilities include:
- Follow Bravo! Vail’s MMHM curriculum to progress classes through each level of material using the Faber piano method series or Suzuki strings method supplemented by other traditional materials as needed;
- Accurately track weekly attendance and student progress in MMHM database;
- Administer Pre/Post Program Assessments;
- Assist with production of bi-annual winter and spring recitals;
- Send weekly parent communications to all families that include material covered in class, homework and upcoming events via MMHM database system;
- Participate in teacher trainings and bi-annual staff meetings;
Education & Engagement Administration:
The Education & Engagement Department at Bravo! Vail oversees the MMHM program as well as coordinates and plans several events throughout the year. This role would assist in class registration (late summer/early fall season) as well as other administrative tasks as needed by the department.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparations of instruments and supplies needed for all classrooms, students, teachers;
- Attend in person registrations as needed;
- Monitor scholarship applications and follow up communications with families;
- Assist with instrument fitting appointments if applicable;
- Assist with classroom set up and delivery of supplies;
- Manage instrument inventory spreadsheet;
- Other Education & Engagement Department-specific administrative duties as assigned.
- Patron Services:
The Education & Patron Services Associate is responsible for assisting with hospitality and box office sales for Bravo! Vail events. This includes but is not limited to selling tickets by phone and in-person and processing donor tickets, while utilizing excellent customer service skills.
- Assist with Box Office sales both in-person and over the phone;
- Printing and mailing of tickets and passes;
- Proofreading emails and website content relating to the Box Office;
- Monitor Box Office emails;
- Assist with the execution and fulfillment of complimentary ticket requests throughout the organization;
Skills and Experience:
- A passion for Bravo! Vail’s mission, vision, and values;
- A minimum of two years of work experience in piano or violin or general strings instruction, group lessons;
- A minimum of 1 year of work experience in customer service or hospitality;
- Energetic, flexible, organized, collaborative, and proactive team member;
- Professional who is trustworthy with a positive attitude and resourcefulness;
- Excellent judgement and creative problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills;
- Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams;
- Familiarity or ability to learn and effectively use CRM database and other standard office technology;
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required;
- Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment (depending on position)
Compensation:
Salary: $48,000 - $58,000

Teaching
• Follow Bravo! Vail’s MMHM curriculum to progress classes through each level of material using the Faber (piano) or Suzuki (violin) method series supplemented by other materials as needed. Substitute teachers will be given a lesson plan drafted by the regular class teacher.
Communication
• After subbing for a class, communicate back to the class teacher a summary of the class experience and attendance records.
Requirements:

• A minimum of two years of work experience in piano or violin instruction, group lessons
• Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive team member
• Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving including conflict-resolution skills
• Self-reliant, but also excels as team player
• Suitable written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills appropriate for communications with students ages 8-18 and their parents/families.
• Basic proficiency in computer skills
• Ability to pass a background check as administered by Bravo! Vail and the school district.
